LED Planning

Phase 1: Needs Assessment โ€” collect socio-economic data and baseline indicators. Phase 2: SWOT Analysis โ€” identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Phase 3: Vision โ€” define strategic vision and objectives. Phase 4: Goals โ€” set SMART goals with KPIs. Phase 5: Projects โ€” develop action plans, budgets, and timelines. Phase 6: Monitoring & Evaluation โ€” track progress and measure impact.

Yes. The planning wizard walks you through each phase with questionnaires, templates, and best-practice prompts. You can save progress and return later. The wizard shows completion status for each phase.

Yes. You can upload existing plans and documents, then use MuniGrowth to implement, monitor, and update them. The planning engine is flexible and works with plans created externally.

Projects

Each project supports milestones with deadlines, budget items and spending, risks and mitigation plans, stakeholder mapping, KPIs and targets, and progress updates. You can link projects to LED plans and grant applications.

Yes. Use the duplicate action to copy a project structure (milestones, budget, risks, stakeholders) as a template for a new project. You can edit the duplicated project before saving.

Grants

We maintain a database of 500+ grants from World Bank, EU, AfDB, UN agencies, bilateral donors, and foundations. The database is regularly updated with new opportunities and deadlines.

Yes. Use filters for country/region, sector, budget range, SDG goals, and deadline. The matching algorithm also considers these criteria when recommending grants for your projects.

Select a grant, link it to a project, and use the Apply action. You'll see application requirements and deadlines. You can generate donor-ready proposals (PDF/DOCX) from the Learning Guides module.

Documents & Exports

You can export LED plans and projects as PDF or DOCX. Exports support English, French, and Arabic. Choose Executive, Full, Brief, or Pitch Deck format depending on your audience.

Uploaded documents support version history. You can add a new version, download any version, and see who updated what and when. All versions are retained for audit and compliance.

Organizations & Team

Seven roles: Admin (full access), Planner (LED plans), Project Manager, Analyst (dashboards), Staff (limited), Viewer (read-only), and Donor (grant-focused). Each role has predefined permissions for plans, projects, grants, documents, and settings.

Yes. Regional Authority and Donor License plans support multiple organizations. You can switch between organizations from the organization menu. Each organization has its own LED plans, projects, and data.

Admins can invite users via email from the invite screen. Invitees receive an email with a link to join your organization. You assign a role during or after invitation.

Analytics & Reporting

The dashboard shows project counts, funding pipeline, KPI completion rates, sector distribution, and grant application status. You can filter by organization, plan, or date range.

Learning & Proposals

Step-by-step guides on LED topics with templates and samples. You can generate donor proposals (Executive, Full, Brief, or Pitch Deck) from your LED plan for grant applications.

Notifications

You receive in-app notifications for milestone deadlines, grant deadlines, document updates, team invites, and system alerts. Email notifications can be configured for critical events.

API & Integrations

Yes. Regional Authority and Donor License plans include REST API access for organizations, plans, projects, and grants. Use token-based authentication. See the API Reference for endpoints and documentation.

Security

MuniGrowth employs multiple layers of security: encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access control (RBAC), two-factor authentication (2FA), CSRF and XSS protection, SQL injection prevention, audit logging, and automated virus scanning for file uploads. We follow industry best practices for data security.

Yes. We implement GDPR-style consent logging, data processing agreements, right to deletion, data portability, and transparent privacy policies. Municipal data is stored in isolated tenant workspaces with complete data separation.

Yes, 2FA is available on all plans. Users can enable TOTP-based two-factor authentication from their profile settings. We support all major authenticator apps including Google Authenticator, Authy, and Microsoft Authenticator.

Data Ownership

You do. Your municipality retains full ownership of all data entered into MuniGrowth. We are a data processor, not a data owner. You can export all your data at any time, and we will delete it upon request.

Absolutely. Before cancellation, you can export all your LED plans, projects, documents, and analytics data. We provide a 30-day grace period after cancellation during which your data remains accessible for export.

We use multi-tenant architecture with row-level security. Each organization's data is completely isolated and inaccessible to other organizations. You cannot see or access another municipality's plans, projects, or documents.

Municipality Onboarding

Most municipalities are up and running within a day. Account setup takes minutes, and the guided workflow helps you start your first LED plan immediately. For larger deployments, our team offers dedicated onboarding support that typically takes 1-2 weeks.

Yes. All plans include access to our documentation and video tutorials. Municipality Pro and above plans include live webinar training sessions. Regional Authority and Donor License plans include personalized on-site or virtual training.

Donor Collaboration

Our algorithm compares your project metadata (sector, region, budget, objectives, SDG alignment) against available grants in our database. Each match receives a compatibility score from 0-100, helping you prioritize the most relevant funding opportunities.

Donors with a Donor License can view funded project portfolios, monitor progress, and access standardized reports. Municipalities control which information is shared with donor organizations through permission settings.

Billing

We bill monthly or annually via Stripe. Invoices are automatically generated and sent to your billing email. You can update your payment method, view invoices, and manage your subscription from the platform's billing settings.

We'll notify you when you're approaching your plan limits. You won't lose access to existing data, but you'll need to upgrade to create new projects or add more users beyond your plan's allowance.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your data remains accessible until the end of the current billing period, with a 30-day grace period for data export after that.
